Welcome and Introduction
“Welcome to Green Goose Vacations I’m your instructor, Juanita Roberto. We’ll be together for the next two weeks. In this course, we’ll come together to help you learn to follow and give commands in English, besides of learning principles required for our beloved community.”

Course Goals
v Students will be able to understand and follow accurately commands in English.
v Students will be able to demonstrate leadership commanding a team in a second language.
v Students will be able to integrate in their lives values about team work and partnership.
v Students will be able to give instructions and communicate successfully some basic patterns in English.
Methods of Instruction
Imperative drills are the major class activities in a Total Physical Response Method. They are typically used to elicit physical actions and activity on the part of the learners. Other activities include role plays and slide presentations. Role plays center on everyday situations, such as at the restaurant, supermarket, or gas station. Games and Challenges are the ways in which the students improve their vocabulary and use of the commands with a real purpose. The Communicative Approach is also part of the instructions, in which the class will be directed by the teacher’s instructions and the students’ interaction. It is going to focus on oral and listening skill’s development and it will be aimed to develop social values, citizen responsibilities, leadership and pride.
Course Component Specifics
The policies about attitude are simple but clear, this course is intended to educate students about principles in favor of our community, which evidently means that any kind of misbehavior attempting against freedom, order, justice, or fair play is totally out of place. The participation is up to the students.
Attendance
There is no room for absences due to the short time of duration of the course. The only exceptions are the following reasons:
1. Absences for family or personal emergencies.
2. Absences for medical reasons (discussed with instructor)
Course Requirements and Grading
Students are expected to be attentive, dynamic, energetic, and competitive anxious for guarantee the development of the contests and games, which are the basis for teaching the commands.I hope these students to commit themselves and actively engage in their learning process.
• There are no grades. The accomplishment of the objectives will be reflected by the medals, prizes and awards that the students will be given when winning a game or having success with the challenges every day.
• The mastery on commands, giving them and performing them, must be accurate enough by the end of the course. The corroboration of this mastery on English language will be reflected by the students own behavior and awards.
• The students’ responses to different situations will be taken into account in order to measure their learning about the principles aimed to be taught.
• The absences will affect students’ progress because the evaluation will be incomplete.
• There will be an award for those students who stand out for their behavior, comradeship, and leadership.
• There will be a final presentation of each student about their prices won in a closing ceremony in which the parents will be present.
